This is the Yamaha YAS-855 alto saxophone.
Due to its short production run, this is a custom model that is rarely seen.
While its design appears similar to the 62 or 82Z, its rich, substantial playing feel is reminiscent of the early SA80 models.
As a model that stands out even among Yamaha saxophones, its popularity shows no signs of waning.
It seems well-suited for players with a strong, full-bodied playing style.
This instrument is in practical condition, showing signs of use such as repair marks on the neck dent, as well as overall scratches, lacquer peeling, discoloration, rust, and other wear and tear.
All pads have been replaced with new ones, and the instrument has been thoroughly adjusted, so you can enjoy playing it right away.
Among the 855 models available on the used market, I believe this one is in relatively good condition.
