We’ve just received a used model that’s even shorter than a short-scale instrument!!

These are the so-called “bizarre” guitars and basses, primarily manufactured in the 1960s not only in Japan but around the world.
These models are characterized by their unique looks and features—a departure from the standard style—and hold a special charm.

This particular instrument is a recent reissue model manufactured by the Canadian stringed instrument brand Eastwood Guitars, which acquired the trademark for the "Pocket Bass" model originally produced by Chicago-based Airline Guitars in the 1960s.

Above all, it’s a striking instrument with a compact body designed for a string length of 26.5 inches—very short for a bass and nearly that of a guitar.
A pickup resembling a violin bass is mounted on the neck side, producing a surprisingly powerful, "thudding" sound that exceeds its visual impression.

In addition to the magnetic pickup, this model features a piezo pickup on the bridge; however, the piezo is currently damaged, resulting in reduced output on the 3rd and 2nd strings. (We will deliver the instrument in its current condition.)
However, the magnetic pickup and other controls are functioning normally.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod functions properly.
There are some scratches overall.
