We have received a used YAMAHA APX900.

Manufactured in 2006, this is a model from the first year of production.

The APX900 is a highly acclaimed model that represents Yamaha’s flagship stage-ready electro-acoustic guitar. It combines excellent playability thanks to its thin-body design with a natural, expressive sound produced by its unique 3-way A.R.T. system, making it versatile for a wide range of applications from live performances to recording. It remains a model with enduring popularity, and the fact that this is a first-year model adds to its appeal.

Key specifications include a solid spruce top, flamed maple laminate sides and back, a nato neck, a striped ebony fingerboard and bridge, a standard C-shaped neck with a nut width of approximately 43mm, and a scale length of 650mm. Equipped with the 3-way A.R.T. system, it can be used in a wide range of settings as an electro-acoustic guitar, from live performances to home recording.

Regarding its condition, there are dents, scratches, and some tarnish and rust on the metal parts, showing signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age. There is a slight bulge visible beneath the bridge on the top.

The neck has a slight forward bow and no neck lift. String action at the 12th fret is 2.5 mm on the 6th string and 2.0 mm on the 1st string; the truss rod has less than half a turn remaining. The saddle is set low, and the frets have been leveled, so there are no significant irregularities, with approximately 60% of the original fretting material remaining.

Our repair center has corrected the bridge warping and performed neck straightening. Considering its age, the instrument is in good playing condition and will continue to serve you well as a practical instrument.

There are no issues with the electronics, and the output is good.

A non-original hard case is included.
