A used 2023 Custom Shop Jazz Bass with an ash body has just arrived!!

A limited-edition Jazz Bass with an ash body.
This isn’t a specific reissue modeled after a particular year, such as 1962 or 1975; rather, it was designed with a slightly more creative approach.

Although ash is used for the body, the wood was carefully selected for its weight, resulting in an excellent overall weight of 4.05 kg.
The fingerboard features round-laminated rosewood, and here too, a darker-colored wood has been selected.
The pickups are hand-wound. The finish is a lacquer coat applied over a primer.

The control knobs are originally metal but have been replaced with plastic (due to the original parts being out of stock).
The frets are MEDIUM JUMBO /6150, the fingerboard radius is 9.5R, and the neck shape is 60 J-BASS "U"—specs that maintain orthodox characteristics while enhancing playability.
This is a rare instrument that lets you experience exactly what a Custom Shop model with an ash body and rosewood fingerboard mounted with four screws would sound like!

Due to the heavy relic finish, signs of wear are hard to discern, but there appear to be almost no dents or marks that seem to have occurred later on.
There are slap-induced scratches on the pickguard, and a crack at the tip of the cutaway on the 1st string side of the pickguard.
