The 513 is well-known for its 13 different sound variations produced by its five single-coil pickups. By utilizing the two blade switches, you can produce 13 distinct sounds. The 5-way selector switches between pickups, while the 3-way selector switches between rear and front pickup modes (Single-Coil / Clear Humbucking / Heavy Humbucking). The ability to freely control everything from a rich, full-bodied humbucker sound to a delicate single-coil sound right at your fingertips is this model’s “greatest strength.” Additionally, with a scale length of 25 1/4 inches—0.25 inches longer than models like the Custom 24—you’ll experience a taut, responsive feel.

Body, Neck, and Fingerboard
The body features a classic combination of a flamed maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

Neck Shape
The neck shape is “Pattern Regular.” It offers a moderate thickness and a secure, comfortable grip.

Condition
There is some fading of the finish on the body top, along with minor scratches and some discoloration on the hardware, but overall, the instrument shows relatively little wear.

All components essential to playability—including the neck, frets, and truss rod—are in perfect working order.
Additionally, upon arrival, our repair center performed a full adjustment and fret leveling, so you can use it with confidence.
