The YAMAHA RBXJM2 is a 6-string bass developed by YAMAHA for Dream Theater bassist John Myung. This model features a distinctive body shape and the wide dynamic range unique to a 6-string instrument.

It features an alder body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, with a 34-inch scale and 24 frets. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SMB-6A pickup and an active 3-band EQ, it offers extensive sound-shaping capabilities.

The look—a satin “Inca Silver” finish paired with black hardware—is another unique charm of this instrument. Its sleek, modern aesthetic further accentuates the distinctive body design.

In terms of condition, there is some discoloration visible on the pickups (pole pieces). Other than that, there are no noticeable scratches. The battery snap has been replaced at some point. The neck is in good condition, and there are no issues with the truss rod. It is in a condition where it can be used without any problems for playing.
