For customers residing in Japan
A used Jazz Bass featuring a Japanese-made neck paired with a Mexican-made body has just arrived!

It’s what’s known as a “mashup” JB-style bass.
Both parts are Fender-made: the neck is a Made in Japan Traditional II 60s Jazz Bass, and the body is a Player II Jazz Bass.
There are no signs of replacement pickups or bridges on the body, and it remains in a condition consistent with the Player II model.
Since the neck is made in Japan, it must be removed from the body to adjust the truss rod; however, octave adjustment was completed without issue, and no problems have arisen as a result of the “two-in-one” modification.
In addition, parts such as the pickguard and knobs have been replaced.
There are traces where a pickup fence was once attached (the fence is missing).

The sound is, as expected, strongly influenced by the neck.
It essentially features the crisp, wide-ranging sound typical of Japanese-made guitars, but it also has a sense of cohesion reminiscent of the Mexican series. This can be attributed to the change in sound resulting from the combination of the two parts.

There are no issues with playability-related components such as the neck and frets.
Since some parts have been replaced, we’ve set a lower price—please consider this guitar.

Made in Japan Traditional II 60s Jazz Bass、BodyはPlayer II Jazz Bassとなります。
