USED GRETSCH / 6122-62 Country Classic II Walnut [03]

We’ve just received a used 1997 Gretsch 6122-62 Country Classic II Walnut!
This 1962-spec model is famous for having been played by George Harrison of The Beatles.
Featuring a larger 17-inch body, it delivers the rich, full-bodied sound characteristic of a full-acoustic guitar. Additionally, the f-holes are painted, which helps prevent feedback, allowing it to be used without issue even with distorted tones.

As for its condition, aside from some tarnished parts, there are several visible scratches, dents, and scuff marks throughout the body, including a slightly noticeable dent on the side. Furthermore, the cushion pad on the back shows signs of age and dirt, and in some areas, small pieces of fabric have peeled off and are stuck to the body.
The pickup screws have been replaced. The body has been repaired with wood filler.
The truss rod currently functions properly and can be adjusted both looser and tighter, though there is limited play remaining.

As this is a 1997 model, there are signs of wear, but it is in good playing condition and fully functional.
