USED C.G.CONN / Tenor New Wonder II GP Tenor Saxophone SN.223xxx [03]

Items in Stock at the Ochanomizu Wind Pal Store

This is a Conteiner Saxophone “New Wonder 2.” It was manufactured around 1928. It features a rare gold-plated body, and the rich overtones produced by the gold plating are particularly appealing. The thumb hook has been modified from a fixed attachment to a removable one, and the lyre screw is missing. The instrument appears to have been well-played, as the finger plates show signs of wear. Additionally, a different material has been applied to the front F key, likely to improve playability. All pads have been replaced and the instrument has been fully adjusted.
