We have received a used Fender Japan Exclusive Classic 60s Jazz Bass Black (2017).

This is part of the Japan Exclusive series released during the final phase of Fender Japan. As a model predating the current Made in Japan Traditional series, it embodies the unique charm of Fender Japan.

It features a basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. Inspired by the 1960s Jazz Bass, it offers an easy-to-play slim neck and a vintage-like playing feel.

The truss rod functions properly. The exterior shows some discoloration on the parts, and there are scattered dents and scratches on the sides and back of the body. There are no issues with playability.

The included case has significant fraying on one side of the handle.

This is a unique instrument representative of Fender Japan’s final production period. It is highly recommended for those seeking the distinctive charm of a “Made in Japan” Fender—a style that sets it apart from current models.
