A 2003 Tak Matsumoto Les Paul has arrived!
This model was released at the time as the second signature model for Tak Matsumoto of B'z. While based on the Les Paul Standard, it features unique specifications that reflect Matsumoto’s meticulous attention to detail throughout.

The body top is crafted from luxurious AAA-grade quilted maple, while the mahogany body back and neck are paired with a rosewood fingerboard. Featuring the original TAK Burst color, black binding, and flared trapezoid abalone inlays, this guitar boasts a gorgeous appearance that truly highlights the grain of the top.

The neck has a relatively slim profile, designed to ensure excellent playability and a comfortable grip even for Japanese players with smaller hands.

It is equipped with Burstbucker Tak Matsumoto Special Type 2 and Type 3 pickups. Based on the Burstbucker design, these custom-made pickups feature Alnico 5 magnets and are potted to prevent feedback.
With fast attack and well-defined tone, the guitar maintains a distinct edge even with heavy distortion without the sound becoming muddy, delivering outstanding presence whether playing rhythm or solos.

Overall, there are signs of wear, including numerous scratches, dents, buckle marks, and chipped paint. Additionally, there are clip tuner marks on the headstock top and some tarnish on the hardware.

The neck has been repaired after a break and has been fully re-lacquered.
Additionally, the strap pins have been replaced with locking ones, and the strap lock is missing.

Unfortunately, the certificate of authenticity and the original strap pins are missing, but the neck is in good condition and approximately 70% of the frets remain.

Although the neck has been repaired for a break, it is currently in good playing condition and can be used without issue.
