A used GIBSON / Historic Collection Hummingbird has arrived.

Since its debut in 1960, the “Hummingbird” has been beloved by countless musicians as one of Gibson’s signature acoustic guitars.
This particular instrument is a 2005 Historic Collection model.

Key specifications include a solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany sides and back, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.

Its appeal lies in the warm midrange and crisp response produced by the traditional combination of spruce and mahogany.

As for its condition, it shows significant signs of wear overall, with numerous dents, scratches, scuffs, and cracks in the finish visible throughout the body. Additionally, some cracks in the wood are visible in certain areas.
There is also sun fading and discoloration due to age, and the tuning pegs show signs of clouding and rust. Furthermore, cracks are visible in the binding on the neck and body.

There is slight warping on the top.
The neck has a very slight forward bow, and the string action at the 12th fret is approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.0 mm on the 1st string side.

The truss rod has been tested for movement up to 60 degrees in both directions, and there are currently no issues with its adjustment function.
The frets are generally low, with approximately 40–50% of their original height remaining. We have performed a fret leveling at our shop, and the frets are currently at a playable height.

Additionally, adhesive repairs have been performed on two areas of the back bracing.

The original hard case is included.
