For customers residing in Japan
We have received a used Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite Bass.

Known as one of Ampeg’s most distinctive models, the Dan Armstrong Lucite Bass boasts a unique look thanks to its transparent Lucite (acrylic) body and continues to enjoy a loyal following to this day. Based on the pot date (137 69 20), this instrument is believed to have been manufactured around 1969.

In addition to the distinctive presence unique to an acrylic body, the powerful sound produced by the humbucking pickups is a major draw.
This bass offers a sound character that’s distinctly different from that of a typical wooden-bodied bass.

The truss rod is tightened to its limit. While the instrument is currently playable, the neck has a forward bow, resulting in a slightly high string action. (Please note that the neck is sold “as is” with no warranty.)

As for the exterior, there are signs of wear throughout, including dents and scratches. There is a dent approximately 3 cm in size near the left side of the bridge on the top of the body, and dents are also visible on the sides of the body. Additionally, screw holes are visible on the back of the body. Furthermore, the screw holes securing the truss rod cover appear loose.

This is a one-of-a-kind instrument that combines a unique look with a powerful sound. We highly recommend this particular instrument to anyone looking for a bass with a distinctive character or one that pairs exceptionally well with rock music.

一般的な木製ボディのベースとは一味違ったサウンドキャラクターを持つ1本です。
