USED YAMAHA / TRB1005J Natural 2022 [03]

We have received a used YAMAHA TRB1005J Natural in stock.

The TRB series has long been highly popular as Yamaha’s flagship 5-string bass. This model is the TRB1005J, which combines excellent playability with a wide dynamic range.

Although production has now ceased, this model continues to enjoy enduring popularity due to its exceptional craftsmanship.

It features a maple/alder laminated body, a 5-piece maple/natato neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. With a 35-inch (889 mm) super-long scale, it delivers a clear tone and powerful bass down to the low-B string.

It is equipped with hum-canceling pickups. The controls consist of Master Volume, Balancer, Treble, Middle, and Bass, allowing for a wide range of sound shaping via the 3-band EQ. The clear tone and wide dynamic range are hallmarks of the TRB series. Additionally, it features a brass bridge with high transmission efficiency, ensuring that string vibrations are fully transferred to the body. This firmly supports the rich, deep bass characteristic of 5-string basses.

The truss rod functions properly. While there are slight signs of wear on the exterior, there are no noticeable scratches or major damage, and the instrument remains in good condition. Furthermore, the strap pins have been replaced with locking pins, and the corresponding strap hardware is included.
