Used 1987 ProCo RAT Black Fece No Brackets in stock.

ProCo's distortion pedal, the RAT, has undergone various specification changes since it was first manufactured in 1978, and is still very popular today. The RAT was a large box pedal until 1983 when it was introduced to the market, but since 1984 it has been a small box pedal.

This model is a specification from 1987, the end of the black face period, and has an exterior called "No Brackets" without a border for control markings, and a flat top structure called "Flat Top.

The op-amp is a Motorola LM308N, and only the Vol pot date is distinguishable, and the "R1378736" pot sticker is also clearly visible, indicating that this is a 1987 model.

This RAT1 has a wide range of sound making from crunch to fuzz, and has a great edge and raspy high end.

1987年製 ProCo RAT Black Fece No Bracketsが中古にて入荷。

1978年に製造されて以来様々な仕様変更を重ね、現在でも多大な支持を集めるプロコのディストーションペダル、ラット。大きな変更では、市場に出てから83年まで筐体の大きい通称ラージボックス仕様でしたが、84年以降スモールボックスとなり現在のRATとして認識されている筐体となります。

本機はブラックフェイス期の終盤である1987年の仕様で、コントロール表記の枠線が無いNo Bracketsと呼ばれる外装となり、筐体はフラットトップと呼ばれる上面が平らな構造。

オペアンプはMotorola製LM308Nを使用し、ポットデイトはVolのみ判別可能で「R1378736」ポットステッカーもしっかりとあり、1987年製であることがわかります。

クランチ〜ファズ的サウンドまでサウンドメイキングの幅が広、エッジ感、高音域のザラつきが素晴らしいこの時期ならではのRAT1。この機会にいかがでしょうか。
