We are pleased to announce the arrival of the Historic Collection 1954 Les Paul Custom Reissue Staple P.U. VOS Ebony, which was produced this year.

While some models were produced in 1953, 1954 was the first full production year of the tuxedo-inspired, classy-looking Gibson Les Paul Custom. The Les Paul Custom was the first guitar to feature the now legendary ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge. Like the early Les Paul Custom, this Gibson Custom Shop reissue features a staple pickup in the neck position and a soapbar P-90 pickup in the bridge position, with gold hardware.

The body is solid mahogany, the neck is one-piece mahogany, and the fingerboard is ebony. All glue is made of glue (hide glue), and the neck shape is "50s Rounded Medium C," which is moderately thick and comfortable to hold.

The head shines with split diamond inlays, the hallmark of top-of-the-line models, and is equipped with Kluson 501VX tuners, aka waffleback. The head and body are covered with 7 layers of multi-layer binding.

Gold-toned hardware includes non-wired ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic, aluminum Lightweight Stop Bar, black hat knob, and other historic parts.

Pickups include the Custom Staple, nicknamed the Alnico 5, and the fat and crisp Custom P-90 Soapbar, with 2Vol/2Tone controls and Luxe Black Beauty Capacitors hand-wired.

There are a few very small scratches on the back, but the rest of the instrument is in good condition with minimal external signs of use.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has plenty of room.
The frets are not reduced and this is a recommended item for customers who are considering buying a new one.

It comes with a genuine hard case, certificate of authenticity, black plate on the back of the toggle switch, and tags.

1953年に生産されたモデルもありますが、1954年はタキシードにインスパイアされた上品な外観のギブソン・レスポール・カスタムの最初の本格的な生産年でした。レスポール・カスタムは今や伝説となったABR-1 Tune-O-Maticブリッジを搭載した最初のギターでした。初期のレスポール・カスタムと同様にこのギブソン・カスタム・ショップによるリイシューもネック・ポジションにステイプル・ピックアップ、ブリッジ・ポジションにソープバーP-90ピックアップを搭載し、ゴールドのハードウェアを装備しております。

ボディにはソリッド・マホガニー、ネックには1ピース・マホガニー、エボニー指板を使用。接着は全て膠(ハイドグルー)を使用し、ネックシェイプは程よい厚みで握り心地の良い「50s Rounded Medium C」を採用。

ヘッドには最上位機種の証であるスプリット・ダイヤモンド・インレイが輝き、Kluson製 501VX チューナー、通称ワッフルバックを搭載。ヘッドとボディには7層のマルチ・バインディングが施されております。

純正ハードケース、認定書、トグル・スイッチ裏のプレート(ブラック)、タグ類が付属いたします。
