Fender Custom Shop 1954 Precision Bass Journeyman Relic Aged Vintage Blonde-2024-

The 1954 Precision Bass Journeyman Relic is a new model for 2024.

Seventy years after its introduction, this bass is one of the most popular mid-50s Precision basses, with the look, sound, and feel of its era.

Two-piece select ash body with Journeyman Relic lacquer finish and Aged Vintage Blonde color.
With a '55 soft "V" shaped one-piece quarter-sawn maple neck, the 1954 Precision Bass recreates the character of an instrument that has been cared for over the past 70 years, rarely used outside of studio sessions or at home.

The "Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 P-Bass pickups" on the instrument produce a warm, full-bodied low end, core midrange, and crisp high end.

Other features include a 7.25" radius flat laminated maple fingerboard, 20 medium vintage (47095) frets, 1-ply parchment pickguard, 2-saddle vintage-style bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, and bone nut, It has premium specifications such as a disc string tree.

As for the condition of this instrument, it appears to have been handled with care and no scratches other than aging were found. The frets have about 70% remaining and the truss rod is working fine.
There are some bent screws on the 4th and 3rd strings, probably due to octave adjustment.

登場から70年を経たこのベースは、50年代中期のプレシジョンベースの中でも最も人気の高いモデルのひとつであり、当時のルックス、サウンド、フィーリングを備えています。

2ピースセレクトアッシュボディにJourneyman Relicラッカーフィニッシュを施し、Aged Vintage Blondeカラーを採用。
55年製Soft "V"シェイプのワンピースクォーターソーンメイプルネックを採用した1954 Precision Bassは、スタジオセッションや自宅での演奏以外ではほとんど使用されることなく、過去70年にわたって大切に扱われてきた楽器のような風格を再現しています。

搭載している「Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 P-Bassピックアップ」は、ウォームでフルボディなローエンド、芯のあるミッドレンジ、歯切れの良いハイエンドを奏でます。

その他、7.25インチラジアスフラットラミネートメイプル指板、20本のミディアムヴィンテージ(47095)フレット、1-plyパーチメントピックガード、2サドル式ヴィンテージスタイルブリッジ、ヴィンテージスタイルチューニングマシン、ボーンナット、ディスクストリングツリーといったプレミアムな仕様を備えています。

本機の状態と致しましては、丁寧に扱われていたようで、エイジング以外の傷は見受けられませんでした。フレットも残り7割ほどで、トラスロッドも問題なく動作しております。
4,3弦のオクターブ調整のためか、ビスに曲がりがございます。
