Gibson Custom Shop Hand Selected Top Standard Hisutoric 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS BOTB Cover Burst -2016-

The "Standard Hisutoric" was released at the same time as the 2015 True Historic and is based on the 2014 Historic Collection specs.
This new arrival was made with top wood selected by the Nashville Custom Shop.
The Beauty of The Burst cover (92P-93P) finish is reproduced.

The top wood is quarter sawn with a 3D flame that shimmers depending on the angle.
Body back is made of mahogany.
Neck is mahogany as well. Fingerboard is rosewood.
Neck shape is Authentic 59 Medium C
Body back and neck painted with aniline dye
As with Vintage, the red color fades to brown with age.
The reddish color of the binding is also a specification of the aniline-dye paint.

The fingerboard is glued with traditional hide glue, and like the Vintage, the tight ground contact surface provides a direct sound.
The long studs and long anchor, which have a great impact on the sound, old-style tubeless truss rod, etc., are the result of Gibson Custom's tireless research.

The pickups are E-Bucker, now renamed Custom Bucker Under Wound.
The output of this pickup is 10% lower than the normal Custom Bucker.

The knob, pickguard, pickup mounting ring, jack plate, toggle switch ring, and other parts are from the Historic Collection.

The neck is currently straight, with plenty of truss-rod room, and there are scratches and minor dings throughout, but it can still be used.

The sound and looks of this guitar are solid.

今回入荷した個体は、ナッシュビル・カスタムショップにて選定したトップ材を使い
The Beauty of The Burst表紙(92P-93P)のフィニッシュを再現

トップ材は、追柾目で木取りされており、角度によって揺らぐ3D感あるフレイム
ボディバックは、マホガニー
ネックも同様にマホガニー　フィンガーボードはローズウッド
ネックシェイプは、Authentic 59 Medium C
ボディバック/ネックは、アニリンダイにて着色塗装
Vintageと同じく、経年変化で赤色が退色しブラウンになっていきます。
バインディングが、赤く滲んでいるのもアニリンダイ塗装の仕様でございます。

フィンガーボードの接着にも伝統的なハイドグルー(ニカワ)を採用しており、ヴィンテージ同様にタイトな接地面がダイレクトな鳴りを実現。
ギブソンカスタムが飽くなき研究を積み重ねた結果、サウンドへ大きな影響を与えるロングスタッド＆ロングアンカー、オールドスタイルのチューブレス・トラスロッドなど、こだわりが施されています

ピックアップは、E-Bucker　現在では、名前が変わりCustom Bucker Under Wound
通常のCustom Buckerより、10％出力を下げたピックアップでございます。

ノブ、ピックガード、ピックアップマウントリング、ジャックプレート、トグルスイッチリングなどのパーツは、従来のヒストリック・コレクションのパーツを使っております。

ネックは現状ストレートで、トラスロッド余裕あり、全体的に傷、細かな打痕はございますが、まだまだお使い頂けます。

サウンド、ルックスも確かな1本でございます。
