現在オーダーのみの生産となってしまったヒストリックコレクション 1963 SG Special Reissue。
ピート・タウンゼントやトニー・アイオミ、カルロス・サンタナなど伝説的なギタリストに愛用されてきたSG SpecialはレスポールシェイプからSGシェイプへと変更された1961年にスタンダード、カスタム、ジュニアと主にリリースされました。
ロックンロールのレジェンド達のお気に入りのモデルとして、ヴィンテージ期製造のオリジナルのSG Specialは、研ぎ澄まされたシンプルさ、高い汎用性、そして弩級のトーンを体現してきました。
ボディ、ネックにはソリッド・マホガニーを使用し、指板にはローズウッドを使用。
セットネックはロングテノン(Deep Joint)を採用し、接着にはニカワ(ハイドグルー)を使用しております。
シンプルな仕様が採用されたスペシャル。ヘッドにはGibsonロゴとKluson製 Single Line w/ White Buttonsを搭載し、バインディングが施されたネックにはドットポジションマークを採用。スリムながら程よい厚みの「Authentic '63 Medium C-Shape」を採用。
ピックアップには「Custom Soapbar P-90」を2基搭載し、2Vol/2Tone、3Way Selectorのコントロール。
ビンテージカーブを採用したCTS製ポットやLuxe製バンブルビーレプリカコンデンサー、Switchcraft製ジャックを使用。
使用に伴う僅かな擦り傷や打痕、バックル痕などございますが、フレットは残り約8割ほど、トラスロッドは左右共に90度回ることを確認しており、問題なくお使い頂けます。
製造方法からビンテージを再現したルックスに加えサウンドまでビンテージギブソンに肉薄した、ギブソンカスタムのヒストリックコレクション。中でも本機、SG Specialはオーダーのみの生産となっており、最近は市場で見かけなくなりました。気になっていた方・お探しの方はお早めに。

The Historic Collection 1963 SG Special Reissue is now available for order only.
Used by legendary guitarists such as Pete Townsend, Tony Iommi, and Carlos Santana, the SG Special was released in 1961 when the Les Paul shape was changed to the SG shape, primarily as a Standard, Custom, and Junior.
As a favorite of rock 'n' roll legends, the original SG Special from the vintage era embodied honed simplicity, high versatility, and a dreadful tone.
The body and neck are made of solid mahogany, with a rosewood fingerboard.
The set neck uses a long tenon (deep joint), and gluing is done with hide glue.
Simple specifications are used for this special. The head features the Gibson logo and Kluson Single Line w/ White Buttons, and the bound neck has dot position marks. Slim, yet moderately thick "Authentic '63 Medium C-Shape" is used.
Two Custom Soapbar P-90 pickups are equipped with 2Vol/2Tone and 3-way selector controls.
CTS pots with vintage curves, Luxe Bumblebee replica capacitors, and Switchcraft jacks.
There are some slight scratches, dings, and buckle marks from use, but the frets have about 80% remaining and the truss rod is confirmed to turn 90 degrees both left and right, so it can be used without any problems.
The Gibson Custom Historic Collection is a collection of Gibson Custom guitars that closely resemble vintage Gibsons, from the manufacturing method to the sound, in addition to the vintage look and feel.
