The "Gibson Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Goldtop" was born from a collaboration between Tak Matsumoto and the Gibson Custom Shop—a partnership that delivers the highest level of quality through precision, attention to detail, and craftsmanship that rivals the original, representing the pinnacle of exceptional sound.

The "Gibson Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Goldtop" is a reissue model of a vintage 1955 Les Paul, customized with two humbuckers—one of which has become one of his main guitars in recent years.Specifications include a one-piece mahogany body with a two-piece maple top, a mahogany medium-C neck, BurstBucker Pro pickups, vintage-tapered CTS potentiometers, Grey Tiger capacitors, and the Murphy Lab (an artisan team that applies an aging process to recreate the feel and playability of vintage guitars) has even authentically reproduced the peeling paint on the back of the neck. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and a hard case.

It is in mint condition and comes with the original box; the frets and truss rod are in perfect working order.
