The 2022 Paul Reed Smith SE McCarty 594 Single Cut has arrived!

Inspired by the sound of vintage guitars, the McCarty 594—the quintessential PRS model—was developed after a complete reevaluation of every aspect, from the scale length and neck shape to the hardware, pickups, and electronics. This is the more affordable SE version of that iconic model.

While available in both Double Cut and Single Cut versions, this is the Single Cut model, which emphasizes the low-mid range.
It features a mahogany body—thicker than the CUSTOM model—paired with a premium flame maple top. The neck, which features a 24.594-inch scale length (the origin of the model’s name), boasts a slightly thicker Pattern Vintage shape.

The 58/15 LT "S" pickups installed on this model were meticulously designed to achieve the transparent yet warm sound characteristic of vintage guitars. Staying true to the style of the guitar that inspired it, the design incorporates a two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners.

The control layout features two volume controls and two push/pull tone controls, allowing for a smooth transition between humbucker and single-coil tones.

The finish is a black-gold burst that resembles a brown burst, creating a beautiful, deep sunburst effect.

It is in overall excellent condition; approximately 90% of the frets remain, and we have confirmed that the truss rod rotates 60 degrees in both directions.
