A 2006 Historic Collection 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS has arrived.

The top is made of blister maple, which features a finer grain than quilted maple.
This is a beautiful guitar featuring the “VOS” and “Iced Tea Burst” finishes introduced that year.

It is equipped with “Burstbucker Type 1 & 2” pickups.
Thanks to its unbalanced coil design and Alnico 2 magnets, it reproduces a rich, airy tone when played clean, and a magical distortion sound with emphasized high frequencies—a hallmark of PAF pickups—when the gain is turned up.

Featuring the “1960 Slim Taper Profile” with its slender neck grip, double-ring tuners, and reflector-style control knobs—all key characteristics of the R0—this is a guitar that lets you fully enjoy the model’s appeal.

There are some minor scratches, but no major damage.
There are scattered instances of color transfer from aniline dye on the neck and body binding.

The neck is in good condition; while the truss rod is tightened slightly, there is still some adjustment room left.
The frets have about 80% of their original depth remaining, making the guitar in good playing condition and still fully usable.

Unfortunately, the certificate of authenticity is missing.
It comes with the original brown case and case key.
