A 2006 Fender Custom Shop / 1951 Nocaster Relic Honey Blonde has arrived.

The Custom Shop represents the pinnacle of the Fender lineup.

This electric guitar was first introduced in 1950 under the name “Broadcaster.”
Since Gretsch already had a product with the same name, the name was changed to the current “Telecaster.”
This model is inspired by the transitional period when the Broadcaster decals were removed before shipment.

Featuring an extra-thick one-piece maple neck—a hallmark of the early ’50s—and a carefully selected ash body, this guitar delivers a sound with a crisp attack that is truly captivating.

While the previous owner had the guitar, the coil in the original bridge pickup broke, so it was replaced with a “Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster Tele Pickup.”
The neck pickup is original.

The wiring is a current-style setup and has been modified.
The capacitors have also been replaced.

The nut slot depth is appropriate, and the neck is in good condition.
There is still plenty of play in the truss rod.

While there are some signs of wear on the frets, they do not interfere with playing; the overall fret depth is about 80% of the original, so this is a guitar that can still be enjoyed for a long time.

Included accessories are the certificate of authenticity (10/05/06), a bridge cover, and a case key.
Although the case is not the original, a Fender tweed case is included.
