A 2011 Gibson USA Les Paul Traditional has arrived.

The Les Paul Traditional faithfully follows the original, traditional Les Paul style. It features a body combining a figured maple top with a mahogany back, along with a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard—the classic wood combination.
The finish is Heritage Cherry Sunburst—a classic Les Paul finish that beautifully highlights the maple’s grain.

The neck features a 50s Rounded Profile inspired by 1950s Les Pauls. Characterized by a substantial, thick grip, it delivers the authentic playing feel of a traditional Les Paul.

The pickups include a “57 Classic” in the front and a “57 Classic Plus” in the rear. These vintage PAF-style humbuckers, featuring Alnico II magnets, deliver a warm, rich midrange and a resilient sustain. From the sweet, full-bodied tone of the front pickup to the powerful, driven sound of the rear pickup, this guitar handles a wide range of rock sounds.

Additionally, this model belongs to the generation that features a 9-hole weight relief structure known as “Traditional Weight Relief.” It avoids excessive chambering, maintaining the traditional Les Paul body structure and sound character.

It weighs approximately 4.2 kg. While possessing the solid presence characteristic of a Les Paul, this particular instrument maintains a relatively manageable weight.
