The popular color of the USA-made AXIS is back as a KID Special!

Since its introduction as the EVH model, the AXIS has reigned as an iconic sound with high playability despite its simplicity.
The "asymmetrical neck grip" and "oil-finish neck" that are so popular today can be said to be the origin of this model.
Even with its modernized specs, it has gained many fans, not only those of yesteryear.
The four most popular colors (Trans Red, Trans Gold, Trans Blue, and Trans Pink) have been revived in response to strong demand in the domestic market!

The basic specs are based on the current AXIS, with a lightweight basswood body and quilted maple top, and an asymmetrical grip figured maple neck.
The matching headstock, which matches the top color, adds to the glamorous look.

Custom wound DiMaggio humbuckers are mounted on the pickups.
The simple and direct 1-vol. / 3-way toggle switch control is intuitive and produces a bright sound.
The double locking Musicman tremolo is set in a non-floating position.
