The Custom 24 is a model synonymous with PRS.

The Custom 24 was introduced at Winter NAMM in 1985, and since then, it has continued to attract guitarists from all over the world with its solid playability, sound, and looks, while repeating minor specification changes.

The latest Custom 24 model also features the patented PRS Gen III tremolo system, PRS 85/15 pickups, and a 5-way blade switch.

The 85/15 pickups were designed by Paul Reed Smith himself, and feature a wide range from low to high frequencies, with a distinctive sound that stands out even when distorted.

The 2024 model features updated peg buttons and winged pegs designed to resemble the Cooper's Hawk used in the bird inlays at the 12th fret.

These wing pegs are based on Paul's 1982 design and are lighter than the old spec metal pegs, which reduces midrange and sustain decay for a longer, more musical sound with a longer tone.
