With the exception of the African mahogany body back, the neck, fingerboard, body top, and other major parts of the instrument are made of the finest curly maple!
The truss rod cover and body back plate are also stained in maple, bringing the beauty of purple to the forefront!

The coloring that incorporates purple is not only beautiful, but also gives a dark impression, depending on how you look at it.
For example, Mark Holcomb, a famous progressive metal guitarist, uses a purple PRS, and purple looks good on a heavy rock guitarist.
The smoked black parts also bring out the rock impression.

On the other hand, since purple is also the color of amethyst, it gives an upscale and mysterious impression, so it would suit any genre of music that has a sense of scale.
The fact that the coloring method is Dragon's Breath rather than bursting type adds to the grandeur.

Another key point is that it is equipped with the now precious Dragon II pickups, which are not currently available on the Core model.
The reason why this pickup was installed may be the desire of the production side to have a hard sound in its own way.
Although this particular model has a large percentage of maple, the high-mids are emphasized instead of the grating highs, and it gives the impression of being able to pull through without being overpowered by the noise of the surroundings.
(This was to be expected since it is a PS...).

The fact that this pickup is installed on the Custom 24/08 is a rare example.
For example, Dragon II with front (hum) and rear (single) pickups is a very rare sound.
Unlike the same layout with 85/15 pickups, the sound is not muffled but clear.

Despite the boldness of the looks, this unit has a high percentage of natural resources.
The rod cover and back plate, as well as the tuning pegs and escutcheon, are made of wood.
The inlays are also made from natural resources, but are not made of artificial materials, but are made of paua and black mother-of-pearl, which gives a gorgeous appearance.

Because private stock has a high degree of freedom, it tends to incorporate anything and everything to create a gorgeous look, but it is surprisingly difficult to achieve a balance while firmly incorporating such a calming element.
This particular model has an excellent sense of balance in this area.

The neck is a patterned thin neck.
Although the neck is thin, it feels as if it is being sucked into your hand, and you can feel the elaborate workmanship of the PS.

Among the Dragon's Breath models in stock this time, this one has a more rock-like impression, but it would be a good match for music with a sense of scale or music in which the guitar stands out.
