Serial: 628993, Pot Date: 137-7352(Vol), 137-7405(Tone), This guitar was made in 1975.

BASS VI was released in the latter half of 1961, and it is a model characterized by its use of E-E tuning, one octave lower than that of the guitar, instead of B-B tuning, which is often used for baritone guitars. It is a popular model that is used not only by guitarists but also by many famous bassists.

The Alder body has an offset contour that makes it easy to play both sitting and standing, and the short-scale (30") maple neck and 21-fret rosewood fingerboard are equipped with three single-size pickups with a selector located near the cutaway on the first string side. Each pickup can be turned on/off and low cut by the selector mounted near the cutaway on the 1st string side.

Pickups are original gray bobbins. Only rear pickup has a faint '75 date. The pots and condensers are also original. (If you wish, we can replace the POT at the time of delivery. * We will respond to your request free of charge).

The pickups have been replaced with new sponges, mute rubber, and nut, and the body has been lightly over-lacquered, but this is a highly original piece.

1961年後期から発売されたBASS VIですがバリトンギターにて多く採用されているB-Bチューニングでは無く、ギターの1オクターブ下のE-Eチューニングを採用している事が特徴的なモデルとなっており、ギタリストのみならず多くの著名ベーシストにも愛用されてる隠れた人気モデルとなっております。

座っても立っても演奏のしやすいオフセットコンターが施されたAlderボディーにショートスケール(30インチ)のMapleネック、21フレットRosewood指板仕様。3基のシングルサイズピックアップを1弦側カッタウェイ付近に搭載されたセレクターでピックアップそれぞれのON/OFFとローカットを行える仕様となっています。

ピックアップはオリジナルのグレイボビン。リアピックアップのみ薄っすら75年のデイトが読み取れます。ポット、コンデンサーもオリジナルです。VolのOFF時に薄っすらVolumeが漏れることや若干のPOT動作の不具合がございますが、現状オリジナルのため交換しておりません。(ご希望の方は、お渡し時にPOTを交換してのご案内も可能でございます。* 無料対応させていただきます。)

ピックアップしたのスポンジ交換、ミュートゴム、ナット交換、ボディは薄くオーバーラッカーされていますがオリジナル度の高い1本です。

状態に関してはキズや打痕など年式相応の使用感はございますがプレイアビリティは良好です。ぜひこの機会にご検討くださいませ。
