This 1984 ALEMBIC MSB SERIES I is in such stunning mint condition that you would think it had been brought from the past in a time machine.
SRIES I is the name of the electronic unit with pickups, volume, filter, and two 3-position filter select switches each, and was the most widely produced series in the history of ALEMBIC.

This particular guitar is equipped with the SERIE I unit in a 32" scale with a standard point shape body. This traditional body shape was also used for the Mark King signature, and is one of the most iconic styles of the Alembic line.

As mentioned above, there are surprisingly no play marks, and many will feel as if they have just acquired a brand new instrument. It comes with the original DS5 power supply and supply cables.

Brass truss rod cover between the front pickup and the fingerboard end.
The engraving reads "VICTOR." Whether it is the name of the first owner or a nickname given to the instrument with love (like Clapton's Blackie or BB KING's Lucille) is a mystery, but it is a nice touch, so we will leave it as it is.

タイムマシンで過去から持ち込んだかと思うほど見事なミントコンディションの、1984年製 ALEMBIC MSB SERIES I です。
SRIES I は ピックアップ、ボリューム、フィルター、3ポジションのフィルターセレクトスイッチがそれぞれ２つ搭載された電子ユニットの呼称であり、アレンビックの歴史の中で最も多く制作されたシリーズ。

当個体はそのSERIE I ユニットが搭載された32インチスケール、ボディはスタンダードポイントシェイプで、この伝統的なボディ形状はあのマーク・キングシグネーチャーにも採用されたもの、アレンビックを象徴するスタイルの一つでもあります。

前述した通り驚くほど演奏痕が見受けられず、多くの方が新品を手に入れたかのような感覚になるでしょう。オリジナルの電源サプライDS5、そしてサプライケーブルが付属します。

フロントピックアップと指板エンドの間のブラス製トラスロッドカバーに
「VICTOR」との彫刻が入っています。ファーストオーナーの名前か、楽器に愛を込めてつけたニックネームか(クラプトンのブラッキーとかBB KINGのルシールとか)は謎ですが何か良い感じなのでそのままにしておきます。
