Fender Custom Shop / MBS Custom QMT Stratocaster NOS Caribbean Blue Trans by Dale Wilson in used condition!

Dale Wilson joined Fender in 2003, moved to the Custom Shop in 2005, and was promoted to Master Builder in 2011. This is a 2019 example made by Dale Wilson, a builder so popular that new orders are now being stopped.

The body is a 2-Piece Ash back, Quilt 5A top with a 5/4 QTR Maple neck in NOS finish with a Urethane finish. Fingerboard is "AAA RW (rosewood)". Neck shape is "65 Strat "C" and fingerboard R is 9.5 Radius. The fret size is "SANKO 6105 (Narrow Tall Size)" with 22 frets.

The 5A Quilt is finished in Caribbean Blue Trans color for a beautiful appearance. The light weight of 3.19 kg is also a point that cannot be overlooked. The overall sound is edgy, but the high notes are not painful to the ear, and the balance is good, making it ideal for playing chords and cutting.

The position markings have been replaced with Paua instead of Mother of Pearl. The front and middle PUs have been replaced with Custom Shop Texas Special. * The original is Josefina HW Texas Special, but this one is not included.
Rear is original Seymour Duncan TB-4.

There are some paint cracks at the neck joint that have been repaired (the paint has also been repaired), but there are few dents and scratches, and the guitar remains in relatively clean condition. Playability is good, including the truss rod.

There are some replacement parts, but it was made by Dale Wilson, a popular builder who has stopped accepting new orders. Please consider this as an opportunity to purchase.

2003年にフェンダーに入社し2005年よりカスタムショップに異動。2011年にマスタービルダーに昇格。現在では新規オーダーがストップしているほどの人気ビルダー、Dale Wilson製作の2019年製の個体です。

「ウレタン」塗装で「NOS」フィニッシュの「2-Piece Ash(アッシュ)バック、Quilt 5A トップ」ボディに、「5/4 QTR Maple(クォーターソーン・メイプル)」ネック。フィンガーボードは「AAA RW(ローズウッド)」となっています。 ネックシェイプは「65 Strat"C"」で、指板Rは「9.5Radius」。フレットサイズは「SANKO 6105(ナロートールサイズ)」の22フレット仕様です。

まずは何と言ってもこの見た目。5A QuiltにCaribbean Blue Transカラーを合わせ、美しい見た目に仕上がっています。ウエイトは3.19kgと軽いのも見逃せないポイントです。全体的にエッジが立ったサウンドなのですが高音も耳に痛くなく、バランスも良いですコード弾きやカッティング弾きにも最適で一音一音の粒がしっかりと揃っている印象を受けます。

ポジションマークはMother of Pearlでは無く、パウアに交換されています。またフロントPUとミドルPUはCustom Shop Texas Specialに交換されています。* オリジナルはJosefina HW Texas Specialですがこちらは付属しません。
リアはオリジナルでSeymour Duncan TB-4となっています。

状態に関してはネックジョイント部に塗装割れを修正した箇所(塗装も修正しています)がございますが、打痕や傷は少なく、比較的キレイな状態を保っています。トラスロッド含めプレイアビリティも良好です。

交換パーツなどありますが、いまや新規オーダーがストップしているほどの人気ビルダー、デイル・ウィルソン製作の個体です。ぜひこの機会にご検討くださいませ。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
