Gibson Custom Shop / 1959 Les Paul Standard Tom Muprhy Painted & Aged BOTB First Standard in stock!

Serial 91267, made in 2018. This model was a Japan Limited Run at the time, hand selected top wood was used locally and produced in consultation with the local staff. The coloring and aging was done by Tom Murphy. The coloring is inspired by the first production of the Sunburst Stress Pole in "The Beauty of the Burst".

The top of the top is hand selected from the finest maple, which is very close to the first production. The top is hand-selected from the finest figured maple, which changes its expression depending on the angle you look at it. The glamorous carving with height difference reveals the beautiful body shape by the reflection of light. The wood is of high quality with a tight grain, and produces a core treble sound with instant output. It has an attractive sound from clean to distorted.

True Historic Parts are used for parts, and Custombacker pickups are used. The rear cover has been removed from the beginning to match the first production. * Cover parts are included.

It is difficult to judge the flaws because of the aged finish, but it is in relatively clean condition. There are some solder reapplication marks, but there are no operational problems and it is in good playing condition, including the truss rod.

It is also a collector's item with only a few available.

シリアル91267、2018年製の個体です。当時のJapan Limited Runとなる本機、現地にてハンドセレクトしたトップ材を採用し、現地スタッフとの打ち合わせにより製作されたモデルです。カラーリングとエイジングはトム・マーフィー氏。カラーリングは「The Beauty of the Burst」に内にあるサンバーストレスポールのファーストプロダクションがモチーフとなっています。

トップに使用されている極上のメイプルはファーストプロダクションに近しい杢をハンドセレクトしています。見る角度によって表情が変わる大変美しいフィギュアドメイプルとなっています。高低差のあるグラマラスなカーヴィングは、光の反射により美しいボディシェイプを浮かび上がらせます。しっかりと目の詰まった上質な木材が使用されており、芯のあるトレブルサウンドを瞬時にアウトプット。クリーンから歪みまでその魅力的なサウンドを響かせます。

パーツはTrue Historic Partsを採用し、ピックアップはCustombackerを採用しています。リアはファーストプロダクションに合わせ、カバーは最初から外してあります。* カバーパーツは付属します。

エイジド加工ですのでキズの判断は難しいですが、比較的キレイなコンディションです。ハンダの当て直し跡が確認できますが、動作に問題は無く、トラスロッド含めプレイコンディションも良好です。

付属品も揃っている上、数が少ないコレクターズアイテムでもあります。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
