Rare 1978 Tokai LS-60 Les Paul REBORN is now in stock!

Tokai LS series started in 1978. The one we have just received is one of the rare first year models produced in the year of the start of the series.
This model was produced after thorough research to faithfully reproduce the original LP, and the decal on the head is "Les Paul REBORN", which is a rare name that can never be used nowadays.

The body is made of two-piece maple top, mahogany body back and neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The fingerboard end is stamped with "60" and the front pickup cavity is stamped with "LS60CS", confirming that this is definitely an LS60 and that the coloring is the original Cherry Sunburst.

Original LS-B pickups are installed. The pickups were originally covered type, but they were removed by the previous owner.
The bobbin color is double cream, and it is known that the owner is aware of the original precious specimen.
Controls are integrated with the base, and the electrical system is in its original condition.

Also, the pegs are the original Cruson type with TOKAI mark.
The truss rod cover is one of the originals from the period when the original fishing bell type was adopted.

The veneer on the head top is cracked in several places, and some of the mahogany wood underneath is visible.

The body is in beautiful condition for a piece that has been manufactured for over 40 years, and the body top in particular is beautiful considering its age.

貴重な1978年製Tokai LS-60 Les Paul REBORNが入荷いたしました!!

1978年よりスタートしたトーカイのLSシリーズ。入荷した個体はスタートした年に制作された貴重なファーストイヤーモデルの1本。
本家LPを忠実に再現するため徹底的に研究して制作されたこのモデルはヘッドのデカールにも"Les Paul REBORN"と入れられており、今では決して使用することの出来ない貴重な名称を採用しています。

ボディーは2ピースのメイプルをトップ材に、ボディーバックとネックにはマホガニー、指板材にはロースウッドを採用した王道のLPスタイル。
指板エンドにはモデル名を表す"60"の刻印、フロント･ピックアップのキャビティー内には"LS60CS"のスタンプが押されており、この個体が間違いなくLS60である事、カラーリングもオリジナルのチェリーサンバーストである事が確認できます。

ピックアップにはオリジナルのLS-B搭載。本来はカバードタイプですがこちらは前オーナー様によって外されていますが
それによってボビンカラーにダブルクリームをチョイスしている事が判明しており、本家の貴重な個体を意識している事が伺えます。
コントロール関係は基盤との一体式となっており、電装系に関してはオリジナルのコンディションとなります。

また、ペグもTOKAI刻印の入ったクルーソンタイプと当時のオリジナル。
トラスロッドカバーも釣り鐘タイプをオリジナルで採用されていた頃の1本となっております。

ヘッドトップの突板に数か所割れが発生しており、一部下のマホガニー材が見える状態となっています。

ボディーに関しては製造から40年以上経過した個体としては綺麗な状態を保っており、特にボディートップは年代を考慮しますと美品といっても良い美しさです。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
