Only 400 pieces of this double-anniversary model, produced in 1995 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the birth of the Hofner 500/1 and the 20th anniversary of its entry into the UK market, are now in stock.

This violin bass is famous for its use by that four-piece band from England.
This model has a spruce/maple hollow structure body, two-piece maple neck, double pegs, and small escutcheon, all of which are reminiscent of the 1962 model.
The back of the head is marked with a certificate of being an anniversary model.

The included pickguard is cracked and the nail to attach it is rusted and broken.
There is a separate pick guard with anniversary lettering attached, but it has no rear side processing or backside parts, so please consider it as a commemorative accessory. In addition, a BASSMAN sticker is included.

There are some signs of use, such as minor scratches, light dings, and light cracks due to expansion and contraction of the binding, but overall, it maintains a clean appearance, and the moderate degree of aging adds depth to the retro look of this instrument.

1995年にHofner 500/1の生誕40周年とイギリス進出20周年を記念して400本のみ生産されたダブルアニバーサリーモデルが入荷いたしました。

イギリス出身の４人組バンドのあの方の使用で有名なヴァイオリンベース。
スプルース/メイプルのホロウ構造ボディーに、２ピースのメイプルネック、２連ペグやスモールエスカッションなど、1962年製を彷彿させるスペックの１本。
ヘッド裏にはアニバーサリーモデルである証が入れられています。

付属のピックガードに割れと、取り付ける為の釘が錆びて折れております。
別でアニバーサリーの文字が入れられたピックガードが付属していますがリア側の加工や裏面のパーツがない為、記念品としての付属品とお考えくださいませ。その他、BASSMANステッカーが付属いたします。

細かい傷や軽度の打痕、バインディングの伸縮による軽度のクラックなど、使用感はございますが、全体的には綺麗な外観を保っており、適度なエイジング具合がレトロなルックスの本機にさらなる深みを与えています。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
