1978 Mustang is now in stock.

Fender's Student Model Mustang was introduced in 1965.
The short scale 22-fret version is equipped with dynamic vibrato, the most effective vibrato in Fender's history.
Each pickup has an on/off switch instead of a selector.
A phase out is also possible, giving the output a wide variety of sound variations.

The unit we have received is believed to be made in 1978 from the head serial number and the date on the volume pot.
The pickguard has a sticker with the same serial number as the head stamped on it, so we know it is original.
The neck is not dated and is stamped "MUSTANG".

The front pickups are numbered 2X 40 X8" and the rear pickups are numbered 1 64 78", both of which are probably original.

Pot date is "1377832" for tone and "78" for volume, which cannot be confirmed due to solder.
The capacitor and jack appear to be original.

The nut and frets are difficult to determine if they are original or have been changed.
The frets have been adjusted several times and are low.

The fretboard has been adjusted several times and the frets have been lowered.

1978年製ムスタングが入荷致しました。

1965年に登場したフェンダーのスチューデントモデル ムスタング。
ショートスケール22フレット仕様に、フェンダーの歴史上、最も効き幅のあるダイナミック･ビブラートを搭載。
ピックアップにはセレクターではなく、各ピックアップのON/OFFスイッチを採用。
フェイズアウトも可能となっており、多彩なサウンドバリエーションをアウトプットしてくれます。

入荷した個体はヘッドシリアルとボリュームポットのデイトより1978年製と思われます。
ピックガードの内側にはヘッドと同じシリアルがスタンプされたシールが貼られている事からオリジナルである事が判明しています。
ネックにはデイトが入っておらず"、"MUSTANG"のスタンプが押されています。

ピックアップはフロントのナンバーが一部かすれており2X 40 X8"、リアは"1 64 78"と記載されており、おそらくはどちらもオリジナルと思われ、リアピックアップのスイッチはオリジナルから交換されています。

ポットデイトはボリュームがハンダで確認できず、トーンは"1377832"で78年製。
キャパシターとジャックはオリジナルと思われます。

ナットとフレットに関してはオリジナルか変更されているか判断が難しい部分となっています。
フレットは何度か摺り合わせが行われており低くなっています。

アッシュ材を使用している時期なので重い個体が多いフェンダーですが、こちらは約2.7Kgとかなりの軽量となっております。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
