NS-2, a very early model from Vinny Fodera's tenure, with historical value

This is an early model of "Spector", a synonym for modern bass guitar that greatly changed the history of bass guitar, and is believed to have been made during Vinny Fodera's tenure. The traces of the Spector's history can be seen in the ply of the thru-neck and the way the head is jointed.

The pickups are original DiMarzio ivory case PJ. Unfortunately, the original HAZ preamp does not remain, but the circuit was built with the exact same parts using the original circuit diagram (which is good because you don't have to worry about it breaking down in the future).
The controls are P volume, J volume, bass, treble, mini-switch active/passive (this is originally an out phase switch, but not used by many people), and kill switch.

The neck itself is in good condition with over 90% frets remaining, and the current playability is very easy to play with the low string height. The original Badass I bridge and Schaller M4 pegs remain original, and the lacquer finish has a natural weather check, giving it a unique presence.

It is no exaggeration to say that the history of electric basses has changed with the appearance of this bass... the NS-2.
