The McCarty 594 Hollowbody II is the newest addition to the popular PRS series and features a full hollowbody construction for a warm, woody tone. The 58/15 LT pickups have undergone the TCI (tuned capacitance and inductance) process for a clearer, more musical tone. Two volume + push/pull tone controls provide a variety of tones. A two-piece zinc alloy bridge and vintage-style tuners are the hallmarks of this model, while at the same time signifying that it is part of the Mccarty family.

Whether you are looking for a rich, "this is humbucking" tone or a nuanced, sweet single-coil sound, the McCarty 594 Hollowbody II will satisfy. Other specs include a bound 22-fret, 24.594" scale Pattern Vintage neck, rosewood fingerboard, and PRS bird inlays.

In the late 1980s, Paul Reed Smith asked Ted McCarty to consult on guitar design and manufacturing techniques. In 1994, Ted released the first McCarty, a product of the techniques and knowledge he had learned from McCarty, as well as Ted's own experience as a guitar builder.
