Made in Japan in the 1980's by FUJIGEN, a masterpiece of high-end basses! Ibanez MC924 is now in stock.

In the early 1980s, when active basses were released by various companies such as Alembic and Spector, the MUSICIAN BASS, or MC series, was released by gathering the best of Japanese technology.
The model we have just received is an original early model manufactured in 1981.

The neck is made of maple and walnut with a 5-piece through-neck construction, and the fingerboard is made of ebony with 24 frets, which is rigid and in good condition.
The body is made of winged mahogany sandwiched by sen.

This model was used by Sting of The Police, who was rapidly gaining popularity worldwide at the time, and its popularity in Japan accelerated.
This is the very same MC924 fretted model that appeared in the official music videos for the famous songs "Message in a Bottle" and "Can't Stand Losing You".

The pickups are very early ones with two IBZ Super 4s, and the controls are 2 volume, tone, boost and cut knobs, 3 EQ, PU selector, and active/passive switch.

It has been checked and overall adjusted by our professional repair staff after arrival and is in excellent playing condition.

1980年代の Made in Japan FUJIGEN 製 ハイエンドベースの傑作！ IbanezのMC924が入荷いたしました。

アレンビックやスペクターの登場によりアクティブベースが各社より発売された1980年代初頭、日本から技術の粋を集めて発表されたMUSICIAN BASSことMCシリーズ。
入荷した個体は1981年に製造された初期モノのオリジナルモデルです。

メイプルとウォルナットを使用した5ピースのスルーネック構造のネックに、指板にはエボニーを採用した24フレット仕様で剛性も高くネックの状態は良好です。
マホガニーをセンで挟み込んだウイング材のボディーとなります。

当モデルは当時世界的人気が急上昇中のThe Police のスティングが使用し、日本国内での人気も一気に加速。
かの名曲「Message in a bottle」や「Can't Stand Losing You 」のオフィシャルPVに登場したまさにあのMC924のフレッテッドモデルです。

ピックアップはIBZ Super 4を2基搭載した極初期のもので、コントロールは2ボリューム、トーン、ブースト･カットノブ、3EQ、PUセレクター、アクティブ・パッシブ切り替えスイッチとなっています。

入荷後に専門のリペア担当にてチェック･全体調整を行い、演奏コンディションも良好です。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.
