Gibson Custom Shop / Murphy Lab 1957 Les Paul Custom 3PU Bigsby Ultra Light Aged Polaris White, a Japan-only model in the Polaris White color not found on the original 57 Custom, has arrived in used condition!

The body is 57LPC, so it is made of 1pcs mahogany, and you can feel the rich sound of mahogany which is typical of 57LPC, unlike the maple top model seen on 68 and modern style Custom. The body is made by Murphy Lab, an artisan team led by aging pioneer Tom Murphy, and features weather-checked, light-aged hardware that reproduces the authentic vintage look of a guitar that has aged over time. The neck is of course mahogany.

The neck is of course mahogany, and the neck shape is 50s Rounded Medium C. It is not too thick like past 57LPC guitars, but has the rich mahogany vibe that is typical of Les Paul. The frets are Historic Medium-Jumbo as on the 1959 Les Paul.

The PU is a Custom Bucker Alnico III (unpotted). The tight low frequency range and smooth high frequency range are great for riff playing, and the immediate response without feeling any hesitation allows for a surprisingly hard-driving sound, making it one of the best choices that have determined the high reputation of the Hiscolle since 2013. In addition, the center position produces the center and rear phasing sounds, which is a great choice.

It is Ultra Light Aged and has aged slightly. However, it is difficult to judge the scratches and dents, but it is still in beautiful condition. Of course, playability is also good. Please consider this opportunity.
