1966 Gibson SG Special in stock!

Serial: 550068, Pot Date: 13765XX, Weight: 3.19kg, made in 1966.

This is the last 1966 with small pickguard, 14 degree head and narrow neck of about 40mm width, which is the specification of this period. The loose beveled finish on the body is another feature. Brass shielding has been used inside the cavity since that time to prevent noise.

Mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard are the standard specs. The pegs are metal knobs as seen in those days, and the original condition is maintained.

The pickups are original P90s, and the pots are soldered in many places, but as far as can be seen, they are '65 POTs.

There are scratches and dents commensurate with its age, but playability is good, including the truss rod.

It is in good condition with high originality and the color is still intact. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

スモールピックガード最終となる1966年、14度ヘッドに約40mm幅のナローネックというこの時期の仕様。ボディのベヴェルド加工も緩いのも特徴の一つです。キャビティ内は当時からブラスシールドが採用されノイズ対策をしています。

マホガニーボディにマホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板という王道スペック。ペグはこの頃見られる金属ツマミとなっておりオリジナルの状態を保っています。

ピックアップはオリジナルのP90、Potはハンダで隠れている部分が多いですが見える範囲で65年POT、その他総合的に判断して電装系は全てオリジナル状態となっております。

年式相応のキズや打痕などございますが、トラスロッド含めプレイアビリティは良好です。

オリジナル度も高く、色味もしっかり残っている状態の良い個体です。ぜひこの機会にご検討くださいませ。
