The Fender Telecaster Custom was introduced in the 70's. The Telecaster Custom was a new model that replaced the 2-single, 2-control Telecaster specification with 1 humbucker, 1 single, and 4 controls, and was born with both the power of a humbucker and the edge of a single. Since its birth, the Custom has become a highly popular model.

The one we have in stock is from the plate serial period, with Neck Date 12053853, stamped by J.TORRES. The body is stamped with Fender's "f" mark and "NATURAL" stamp inside the cavity, which confirms that this is not a refinish but the original natural color.

The PU Date on the front is 20XX74 (some letters are blurred), and the rear is mounted with a gray bobbin, which cannot be confirmed by the plate. Tones are '74. Capacitors are original. The solder color is the same as the original. The toggle switch is currently out of tune, but it is original and remains as it is. We can replace the toggle switch with a new one, so please feel free to contact us.

The numerous scratches and stains that are characteristic of a long-ago instrument are a beauty that cannot be reproduced with processed products.

This is a rare Telecaster Custom that has not been seen in the market very often in recent years.
