The Studio Elite HD Special Edition from James Tyler is a high-end model that combines exceptional playability with a unique design. The body is made of alder for a lightweight and balanced tone. The finish is a vibrant Royal Blue Shmear finish with a unique pattern and chrome hardware that accentuates the high-end feel.
The pickup configuration features JTS5500 single coils in the neck and middle, and a powerful "Super" humbucker in the bridge. This allows for a wide range of tones, from clear, subtle clean tones to thicker drive tones. It also features James Tyler's unique Midboost circuitry, which allows for instant tone enhancement with the push of a button, greatly enhancing the expressiveness of live performances and recordings.
The neck is quarter-sawn maple with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and 25.5" scale. The 22-fret design allows for a modern playing style and is ideal for technical playing.
Hardware features Hipshot locking pegs and G2RV bridge for stable tuning and smooth operation. Weighing only about 3.37 kg, this lightweight instrument is not fatiguing even after long hours of playing.
