A 2020 McCarty 594 Singlecut 10Top Aquamarine has arrived!

This McCarty 594 Singlecut features a beautiful Aquamarine finish and is crafted from 10Top-grade figured maple—a designation reserved for only the most carefully selected wood. The delicate, three-dimensional flame grain spreads beautifully across the entire body, revealing different expressions depending on the viewing angle.

The body combines a maple top with a mahogany back, delivering both rich mid-low frequencies and clear highs. It achieves the powerful sustain and stable tone characteristic of the Singlecut. The combination of a mahogany neck and an East Indian rosewood fingerboard produces warmth and a natural response, while the comfortable grip provided by the Pattern Vintage neck shape is another appealing feature.

Since the originally installed “58/15” pickups were malfunctioning, we’ve replaced them with a Dragon Bass pickup in the front and a Dragon II Bridge pickup in the rear. With the powerful output and prominent midrange characteristic of the Dragon series, this setup delivers a more dynamic sound while preserving the rich harmonic character inherent to the McCarty 594. You can enjoy a lustrous, deep resonance in clean tones and a powerful tone that combines thickness with clarity in driven sounds.

Additionally, the Original Solid Birds inlays—a PRS hallmark—and nickel hardware lend a sense of luxury. Combined with the traditional 2-Piece Bridge, they support a rich resonance and excellent playability. Weighing approximately 3.65 kg, it’s easy to handle, and its appeal lies in the combination of a solid sound and excellent balance.

This instrument combines the exquisite grain unique to a beautiful 10-Top, a vibrant Aquamarine color, and the distinctive, powerful sound of Dragon pickups. It is a captivating guitar that masterfully blends PRS craftsmanship with practical playability, making it highly recommended for a wide range of players and collectors alike.

While there are some signs of wear—such as slight tarnish on the metal hardware, rust on the bridge saddles, and clear coat peeling on the lower part of the body—the rest of the guitar remains in relatively good condition. After purchase, it underwent a full adjustment at our repair center, ensuring excellent playability.
