USED Fender / 1971 Precision Bass Sunburst [05]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1971 Precision Bass.

Fender basses from the early 70's are being reevaluated in recent years.
This time, we have a 1971 Precision bass in stock.

This bass has CBS logo without serial number, original pegs, and other specifications unique to this period.
This bass was featured on page 101 of "The Authority of FENDER BASS" published by Shinko Music.
Since it was published in a book published in 2015, it is interesting to compare the history of the instrument, such as the reddish color of the sunburst has faded from the condition in the magazine.
The POT DATE and PUDATE indicate 71. The serial is also in the 71 range.
There is a history of modification to the ground and wiring from the PU.
Unfortunately, there is no NECK DATE, but there are features such as original pegs without register marks and black side dots that do not cover the Rose, which are not uncomfortable.

The truss rod is fully adjustable and the neck condition is fine.
The nut has been replaced and has been bulked up.
The frets are judged to be original, but there are some string marks.
This is not a cause of chattering.

The fading of the sunburst is also a tasteful feature.
It has a good sound and is highly recommended.
