USED Orville by Gibson / Korina Explorer MOD [05]

An extremely rare model!! The Orville by Gibson Korina Explorer has arrived!!

Orville, a Gibson sub-brand, was launched in the 1980s.
Even now, more than 20 years after production ended, it remains highly popular, and its value continues to rise with each passing year.

The model we’ve received appears to be from 1990, based on its serial number.

The previous owner installed a vibrato unit.
Since the holes for the original tailpiece remain, it is possible to restore it to its original specifications.
The original tailpiece is missing, and one of the studs has been removed with a ground wire running from it, so separate parts will be needed to restore it to its original configuration.

Additionally, the pickguard has been changed to black, giving it a '58-style look.
The original white pickguard is included.
Both pickups are original, with an HB-R and an HB-L mounted.

As this instrument was built over 20 years ago, it shows some signs of use; however, it has been inspected and fully adjusted by our specialist repair team since its arrival and is in excellent playing condition.
