We've received a used copy of "The RAT" by Proco / Large Box.
This is the Large Box (Big Box) version of The RAT.
This is from the period when the center control label changed from “TONE” to “FILTER,” and based on the pot date and other details, it can be determined to be from around 1982.
It features a National Semiconductor LM308N op-amp.
It covers everything from crunch to dirty distortion, and its dry, distinctive “The Rat” tone is truly one-of-a-kind.
