This jazz bass-style model is called the “Night Breeze.”Based on the stamp in the neck pocket, it appears to have been manufactured in 2009. Although no spec sheet is included, it’s safe to say this features an African mahogany body with a stunning flamed maple top, a cocobolo fingerboard, and a meticulously crafted 5-piece hard rock maple and walnut neck. The center layer likely consists of Aquatimer maple, which has a slightly deeper color and showcases the grain beautifully.

The sound is of such high quality that it rivals its looks. The rich, warm tonal range produced by each pickup is sure to captivate every listener. You might even sense a resonance that has developed over the nearly 20 years since its manufacture. With a 24-fret scale, this is truly a model capable of handling anything on its own.

Signs of use are visible throughout—such as chipping on the headstock, additional holes likely drilled for a pickup fence, and dents and buckle marks—but the truss rod and frets are in perfect condition. Playability is excellent. This is undoubtedly a battle-hardened instrument that has weathered countless live performances.
