Mr. Sato, who works as a guitar repair technician in Saitama Prefecture, creates
"Rune Guitar"—specifically, the "FB 1 ASH Aged Red," a model from the Curion series, which is the brand’s flagship model,
the FB 1 ASH Aged Red—which combines the Firebird’s look with a Fender-inspired aesthetic—has arrived.
It features a one-piece ash body, a long-scale maple neck with 22 frets, and is equipped with two Lindy Fralin Firebird Stock pickups. The machine heads and bridge are GOTHO 510H.A.P and 510T, respectively. Furthermore, by replacing the bridge’s inertia block
with Rune Guitar Maintenance’s original steel “GRAVITY” model, which not only adds weight but also helps stabilize the pitch of the lower strings, such as the 6th string.
Furthermore, the bolt-on neck-to-body construction brings out a raw, rock-inspired sound.
As for its condition, the aged finish makes it difficult to assess wear and tear from use, but no particularly noticeable scratches were found.
The neck is also in good condition, with over 80% of the frets remaining.
Included accessories are a Providence gig case and a tremolo arm.
