USED Sadowsky / JB75 Sadowsky MOD 1993–1994 [05]

A hard-to-find 1990s Fender Japan / Sadowsky Tokyo Mod has arrived!

This guitar was modified by Okada International (Sadowsky Tokyo)—which served as Sadowsky’s distributor at the time—from a Fender Japan JB75. Modifications include refretting, nut replacement, pickup replacement, conversion to an active system (using NYC circuitry), upgrade to a BADASS II bridge, and noise reduction measures. The controls consist of a master volume, balancer, master tone, treble boost, and bass boost. Additionally, the output jack is mounted on the side of the body.

It is said that at the time, they selected particularly high-quality instruments from a large inventory to modify. Whether you look at playability, sound, or precision, the NYC-quality finish is simply outstanding...

It is this work that, 30 years later, would become Kikuchi Guitars.
