The Stingray 5, Ernie Ball Music Man's first 5-string bass, has been the industry standard for basses with an extended range since its introduction in 1987.
With its powerful, punchy sound, flexible pickups with switchable sound variations, contoured body for easy playability, and the introduction of the 2-pickup model, the Stingray 5 lives up to players' expectations.

This is the 5-string model with 1 pickup.
The newly designed Stingray pickups feature powerful neodymium magnets with even higher output and wider range.
The newly designed 18-volt 3-band EQ preamp with extra headroom can produce modern, punchy tones as well as vintage tones.

The redesigned, lighter tuning machine is more reliable and provides pitch stability while preventing head drop and ensuring a balanced neck.
The matching head design features a tortoiseshell pickguard, white PU cover, and ebony fingerboard.
