Tube Screamer originator "Susumu Tamura" New Effects Pedal
In 1978, the legendary pedal was born. Now, its creator, former Maxon engineer Susumu Tamura, and KarDiaN have created a brand new Tube Screamer-like pedal.
A supreme overdrive that is the product of exhaustive research into all Tube Screamer pedals.
Susumu Tamura is a legendary engineer who is no stranger to the effects pedal world. His design skills began with the creation of the Tube Screamer and have resulted in many great pedals. Mr. Tamura is currently living in Nagano, Japan, where he spends his time designing pedals, and he was able to connect with Mr. Hirabayashi of Shimamura Gakki to collaborate with KarDiaN. Mr. Tamura and KarDiaN Kitada designed the circuitry for the two engineers, and KarDiaN Kitada has a Maxon OD-808 Narrow, Maxon OD-808, Ibanez TS-808 Narrow, Ibanez TS-808, etc.. After studying all of these pedals and several others of the same model, the two engineers have created a pedal that is the culmination of all their hard work.

The "Serotonin Origin S.T." is made with special attention to detail, starting with the parts. The heart of the sound is a special op-amp selected by Susumu Tamura. I was not able to find out the model number of this op-amp, and I was also told that this op-amp was discontinued. However, Mr. Susumu Tamura has stocked tens of thousands of these to ensure his original sound. Other carefully selected components such as Orange Drop coupling capacitors and Amtrans AMRG, which carries KarDiaN's signature tone, were used to achieve a unique sound.

There are some signs of use such as scratches and dirt, but there are no operational problems.

全てのTube Screamerを研究し尽くした至高のオーバードライブ
田村進氏はエフェクター界隈では知らない人のいないレジェンドエンジニアです。彼の持つ設計技術はTube Screamerの製作に始まり数多くの素晴らしいペダルを生み出してきました。そんな田村氏は現在長野県で設計に明け暮れており、今回島村楽器の平林氏とご縁を繋いでいただきKarDiaNとの共同製作に繋がりました。田村氏とKarDiaN北田による二人のエンジニアの回路設計、そしてKarDiaN北田の所有するMaxon OD-808 Narrow, Maxon OD-808, Ibanez TS-808 Narrow, Ibanez TS-808, etc...これら全て、そして複数台の同機種を研究し二人のエンジニアが死力を尽くしたペダルが誕生したのです。

"Serotonin Origin S.T." はパーツから特別なこだわりを持っています。特にサウンドの心臓となるのは田村進氏が選び抜いた特別なオペアンプです。これは私も型番はもちろん知ることはできず、更にこのオペアンプは廃盤品とのことです。しかし田村進氏はこちらを数万個単位でストックすることで彼の持つオリジナルサウンドを確実な物としています。その他にもOrange Dropによるカップリングコンデンサ、KarDiaNのシグネイチャートーンを担うAmtransのAMRGなど選びぬかれたコンポーネントを使用することで唯一無二のサウンドを実現しました。

キズや汚れなど若干の使用感はございますが動作上の問題はございません。

Please Note

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
